Frame Relay
Frame Relay is a high performance, low delay product that supplies cost effective Local Area Network (LAN), Wider Area Network (WAN) Internet and Intranet interconnections. It is most suitable for sending variably sized bursts of data that require peak speeds.
Frame Relay will be grandfathered to Level 3 on 31 December 2010. Grandfathering to Level 3 means that after this date no new end-users may obtain the product. Existing end-users will be able to keep instances of the product they have; they can order more instances where equipment and capacity allow; and, they may keep the product if they move where equipment and capacity allow.
Frame Relay is an agency product and is serviced via Chorus.
